The Great North American Solar Eclipse is happening April 2024! 

A total solar eclipse is set to dazzle our region on Monday, April 8th, 2024. This time, northern New Hampshire will be in the path of totality. Solidify your plans and plan your visit to the Western White Mountains for this incredible natural event! We’ve been gathering all the information you need to plan your visit.

Local Events

  • Loon Mountain Resort– Skiers and snowboarders will have the unique opportunity to ski and ride through the path of totality at Loon. With a partial view of the eclipse, Loon will be a prime location to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event. No foot-traffic skyride tickets will be sold at this time. Lift access will be limited to skiing/snowboard guests only. Learn more.  
  • Eclipse Fest at Cannon Mountain– Don’t miss your chance to watch the Total Solar Eclipse at Cannon with Dub Apocalypse Beach Party. The Aerial Tramway will be running. Visit website for full details and event information.
  • Indian Head Resort- Event information coming soon!
