When should people consider downsizing and moving into either a s 55-plus community or a retirement community?

This process is best started in the years leading up to a move when you have time to think through the process without the pressure of an imminent transition. Downsizing can be a big process but is very doable when tackled in smaller steps or with the help of a professional or a trusted friend or family member. If the goal is to retire to an Independent Living community, you will want to make this move while you are still physically active and healthy.

Given the high demand for homes in the real estate market, has there ever been a better time for someone to make the transition?

Now is an excellent time to consider moving to a senior living community. The housing market is doing very well. You will want to have your new home picked out and ready to go should your house move quickly.

What are some of the key things that separate your retirement community from others here in NH?
