This Asian inspired Vegetarian Bistro and Bar in Portsmouth is on a mission to bring balance to the culinary world by providing food that is inclusive to all. When the award-winning Green Elephant opened, chefs and owners Dan Sriprasert and Bob Wongsaichua were primarily inspired by Thai cuisine, but now they’ve combined flavors from Thailand, Malaysia, China, and India to create a vegetarian menu that everyone in your party is sure to enjoy. From Pad Thai, to dumplings, to Roti Canai, there’s something on the menu for everyone. Their cozy hometown atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy a bite to eat, right in the heart of Newmarket. In their own words, the Green Beautiful exists to “sustain and inspire you with the power of plants.” Located in Manchester, the Green Beautiful’s kitchen cooks up plant-based breakfasts, smoothies, and sandwiches from scratch six days a week. Their menu features everything from bagels, to a BBQ breakfast, to a Philly Cheesesteak – the best part? It’s all plant based and 100% vegan. Their dining area is as bright and colorful as their food, and is the perfect sunny spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious meal.

Luke’s Sub Shop doesn’t just sell subs… they also have a full vegan menu, courtesy of the Valley Vegan. White Mountain vegans might recall that the Valley Vegan was once its own standalone restaurant, however now they are a part of Luke’s Sub Shop, which is conveniently located in the same spot. While their menu might no longer be strictly vegan, Luke’s Sub Shop still has plenty of vegan options for those that loved the original restaurant.  Bring your appetite, because the sub shop’s vegan menu has sandwiches, flatbread style pizzas, salad bowls and more. The Valley Vegan also operates a bakery, which regularly cooks up gluten-free recipes, that look as delicious as they taste.

They’re making eating vegan fast and easy, and the pride themselves on how they get around. With gluten-free items on their menu, they strive to ensure that everyone can enjoy their fast and easy food. Their menu is known to change, but whether they’re serving up a deconstructed lasagna bowl, watermelon-feta salad, or mac and cheese, you’ll love what they’re cooking up before they head out. Still not convinced?
